FORTNIGHTLY McNAB SALE
CATTLE COMPRISE BULK OF YARDING
The yarding at the fortnightly McNab stock sale yesterday comprised mostly cattle. Fat bullocks sold at up to £ll, and fat heifers brought £B/15/-. Steers sold at from £7/7/to £B/5/-. In the sheep pens fat ewes realized 29/9 and wether hoggets from 29/- to 31/6. Sales were:—
Wright, Stephenson and Co. Ltd., sold—Fat cow at; £5, yearling bull at £3/8/-. Passed in: Jersey bull, Shorthorn bull and dairy cow. Southland Farmers’ Co-operative Association, Ltd., sold—Thirteen fat ewes at 22/9, 2 fat bullocks at £ll, 2 fat heifers at £B/15/-, 1 fat ccw at £6, 6 steers at £7/7/-, 1 bull at £4/15/-, 1 do at £5. National Mortgage and Agency Co. Ltd., sold—Speyed heifer at £4/10/-, 4 fat steers at £B/5/-.
