MONTEREY’S ROUGH CROSSING
WOMAN THROWN TO FLOOR IN CABIN (United Press Association) AUCKLAND, December 12. The Matson liner Monterey which arrived from Sydney experienced a rough Tasman crossing. About 4.30 a.m. yesterday, said one traveller, the ship rolled heavily and a woman was thrown out of her bed on to the floor. Everything on the dressing table crashed to the floor also and outside there was the crash of falling crockery and other things.
