BRITISH CRUISERS DAMAGED
OSLO, November 30. The Norwegian Admiralty announced that two damaged British cruisers and one submarine put into Kostarcey, near Stavanger, pleading distress of weather and damage. The Admiralty sent aircraft coastguards to examine the vessels. This recalls the reported battle off Norway between warships arid bombers on November 29. It was; stated at the time that no hits were; recorded by either side. The British United Press learns that one ship accompanying the damaged submarine is a torpedoboat.
