WAIHOPAI RETAINS DIGGERS’ CUP The Waihopai holders of the Diggers’ Cup successfully withstood a challenge from Georgetown last night and won by 22 points to 13. Details were:— G. W. Dalton, Payne, Barlow, Sinclair 13 — Adam, Coltman, Morrison, Speirs — 22 The next challengers are Hokonui and Gore in that order. murihiku cup match In a bowling match for the Murihiku Cup played on the Hokonui green last night the Hokonui team was successful in retaining the trophy, beating Edendale by a margin of 11 points. The rinks were: H. E. R. Dawson, D. Horn, J. Ritchie, D. Tait 21 — T. Hickey, W. Chapman, G. Smith, C. Hall — 10 Challenges will be played in the following order: Gore, Georgetown and Riverton.
