A considerable section of the lists issued by the Minister of Customs (the Hon. W. Nash) deals with goods on which differential restrictions are placed according to the country of origin. In some cases. no restrictions are placed on goods originating from the United Kingdom vzhile the quantities which may be imported from other British or foreign countries are limited; in other instances limitations to varying extents are imposed on goods from all sources.
