FAREWELL TO HOME MISSIONARY During the evening session of the Presbyterian Church flower show opportunity was taken to bid farewell to Mr C. V. Stewart, home missionary, and his family. Mr Stewart has given up his duties in the district to go to North Auckland. The Rev. N. F. Sansom (Woodlands) paid a tribute to Mr Stewart for his efforts while in charge of the district and wished him a speedy return to health and work.
On behalf of the Springhills, Glencoe, Mabel Bush and Hedgehope congregations and friends Mr C. P. Beck paid a tribute to Mr Stewart for his devotion to his church duties and his good citizenship. He presented Mr Stewart with a cheque subscribed by church members and friends. Mr Stewart replied.
