MORE PETROL IN HOLIDAYS
Special Allowances For Tours CONCESSION ANNOUNCED BY MINISTER (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, October 12. Additional relaxation of the oil fuel restrictions by granting special allowances for genuine holiday tours was announced by the Minister of Supply (the Hon. D. G. Sullivan) today. Special licences will be given authorizing not more than 30 gallons for vehicles of more than 14 h.p. and 20 for vehicles under 14 h.p. This is in addition to the amount covered by coupons. The period covered at present is between October 13 and December 1. Applications will be considered on their merits. An announcement will be made later about supplies subsequent to that. . , Mr Sullivan hopes the spirit of the announcement will be strictly observed and he would appeal for assistance in preventing any abuse of this concession.
