TRIPLETS BORN AT GORE
TWO BOYS DIE LATER IN DAY An event, considered to be unique in the history of the town, occurred at Gore yesterday morning when triplets, two boys and a girl, were born to Mrs Mallon, wife of Mr Michael O. Mallon, Albany street. The triplets were born at the Gore Hospital about 6.20 a.m., and were reported to be in a healthy condition. Unfortunately, however, both boys died later in the day. The girl will be taken today to the Kari-tane-Hunt Hospital, Invercargill. Mrs Mallon is reported to be in good health.
