Rexfelt and The Progeny, moving well, finished together after covering a mile in lmin 47sec.

Fearless easily beat Caimsmore over a mile in lmin 51sec. Gold Salute and Wilson did four furlongs in 55£sec and Bankshaw did five in lmin ssec.

At Flemington on the inside grass, the going was fair. Sir Harold and Magnetic Knight beat Platero over a mile in Imin 47Jsec, Maluno who covered 10 furlongs in 2min Msec moved well. Reading moved freely alongside Thunderclap in a five-fur-long journey in Imin Bsec and Anpapejo was impressive over six furlongs in Imin 19isec. Feminist, L’Aiglon and Billposter did useful tasks and look well after their trip to the Randwick meeting. Lautus did a mile in Imin 47Jsec.
