Maori Sentenced
Five years’ reformative detention was the sentence imposed on Hoani Raroa, aged 21, by Mr Justice Blair, in the Supreme Court at Wellington, on a charge of breaking and entering at Ruatoria with intent to commit a crime. His Honour remarked that he could not see a single redeeming feature.—Press Association.
