BANK SHARES QUIET ON INVERCARGILL EXCHANGE
Interest was still being shown by investors in Government securities on the Invercargill Stock Exchange yesterday. Banks were a little more prominent, but the market was still quiet. There was inquiry for only one or two Commonwealth industrial lines. Metal companies’ shares were neglected. A sale of Bank of New Zealands at £2 was reported. Quotations were as follows:—
