National Daffodil Show
A decision to seek permission from the National Daffodil Society to postpone the National Daffodil Show at Invercargill for one week to October 6 and 7 was made by the executive of the Invercargill Horticultural Society last night. It was stated that the season was unusually late this year and that many of the growers would be unable to exhibit if the show were held on the original dates. If permission to postpone the show was granted, every effort would be made to make the show an outstanding success.
