AMSTERDAM BANK’S DEFICIT
MORATORIUM ON PAYMENTS LONDON, August 14. The Amsterdam correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain reports that Mendelssohn and Company - the Amsterdam bank whose suspension of payment was reported last week—has been granted a moratorium on payments. The company’s deficit is £632,000.
