WRESTLING
FORSTER AND McCREADY TONIGHT
The wrestling contest set down for tonight between Earl McCready and Frank Forster should satisfy every enthusiast. McCready is well known to local enthusiasts as a wrestler who knows every hold in the sport, and who is recognized as the British Empire champion. McCready has, since his last visit here, toughened up, and when he starts elbow jolting his opponents know they are up against something. Frank Forster, the South African, who, on Monday night in Dunedin against Paul Boesch, put up a wonderful performance, and had the audience thrilled with his forceful tactics, is keen to come to grips with McCready, as on their first meeting in Wellington, Forster contends he had the match won, when the referee gave a fall against him when his shoulders were not on the mat for the necessary three seconds. Forster is still annoyed over that decision and
tonight there should be plenty of thrills at the Civic Theatre. Forster, is a brilliant wrestler, and with the addition of his jolts and mule kicks, is a formidable opponent for the popular McCready. Forster has a special hold of his own which he calls the “monkey shake.”
