Air Mail Correspondence
That correspondence for despatch by air mail can be posted in any street pillar box, provided that it is marked ‘‘air mail” or has the. blue air-mail label affixed, is a fact that is perhaps not realized by some of the public. The air mail closes at the Chief Post Office at 7.30 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays, at 12.30 p.m. on Saturdays and at 5.30 p.m. on Sundays and all clearances from street pillar boxes before these times make the connection and all air-mail letters received in these collections are included in the air-maii despatches.
