Fame of Axemen
The fame of the Australian axemen, W. Johnson and M. C. Parker, has spread to Canada. In a Toronto newspaper received by Mr H. M. Tyrrell, Bay Road, appears a photograph taken at the Invercargill Caledonian Society’s Caledonian games last January. The photograph shows Johnson and Parker in their spectacular tree-felling contest.
