DEMAND FOR LAMBS AT WYNDHAM WETHERS HARD TO SELL AT LAST SALE VALUES There was a small yarding of sheep and a big yarding of cattle, principally Hereford and Black Poll calves, forward for the Wyndham stock sale. There was a fair demand for freezing lambs and the whole lot was quitted at auction at full schedule rates. Store sheep were not wanted, and any lines of wether hoggets or breeding ewes brought a few shillings a head under last sale’s rates. There was a small yarding cf fat cattle and prices showed an advance of fully £1 a head on the last sale. Store bullocks were in demand and prices for these were slightly in vendors’ favour.
