UNION LEADERS SUED BY COMPANY
(Received May 24, 8.10 p.m.) CLEVELAND, May 23. The Republic Steel Corporation, chief target of the Committee for Industrial organization in the 1937 strike, has filed a suit for 7,500,000 dollars against Mr John L. Lewis and the other organizers of the C. 1.0., including 700 workers, for damages suffered and interference with the operation of the company’s plants. The case raises an interesting question which it is expected may be settled by the Supreme Court-
