BRITISH AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP

FIRST ROUND RESULTS (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright) LONDON, May 22. The first round of the British amateur golf championship was played at Hoylake, near Birkenhead (Cheshire), today, the competitors being handicapped by a strong wind. D. C.
