PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at the Session of Parliament commencing in June 1939, the Bluff Borough Council intends to promote a Local Bill, the objects of which are to obtain authority to refund the rates for the year ending on the 31/3/39 and annually to remit the rates chargeable for all subsequent years in respect of “The Sailors’ Rest” property. Copies of the Bill have been deposited in the Magistrate’s Courts at Bluff and Invercargill and at the public office of the said Council, and such copies shall be open to public inspection during office hours, without fee, for a period of three weeks from the 15th day of May 1939.
