CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP OF N.S.W.
SUCCESS OF C. PURDY SYDNEY, May 12. C. Purdy, formerly of New Zealand, won the New South Wales chess championship for the fifth time, being unbeaten in 10 games. Crowl was runnerup with eight points and Vaughan third with seven points.
