DR NEGRIN NOW IN MEXICO

ARRIVAL REPORTED BY NEWSPAPER MARTIAL LAW PROCLAIMED IN MADRID (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright) (Received March 31, 9.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, March 31. The Mexico City correspondent of The New York Times says that the newspaper El Mundo reports the arrival of the former Spanish loyalist Prime Minister (Dr Juan Negrin) abroad a private yacht at Tampico. His luggage occupied half a railway goods car and there was much speculation about the contents of it. Efforts to confirm the report-are at present unsuccessful.

King Victor Emmanuel of Italy has sent a telegram to General Franco as follows:—“While the valorous troops of Nationalist Spain are performing heroic deeds I wish to express to you the admiration of myself and of all Italians, who salute the rebirth of a great and friendly nation as a triumph of justice.” . _ The last letter signed by Pope Pius XI was a blessing on General Franco s daughter, at her special request.
