OBITUARY

MR FRANK H. MORGAN (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 31. Mr Frank H. Morgan, whose death in Sydney has been reported by cable message, was bom in Taranaki. He began his journalistic work in that province and was subsequently subeditor of The New Zealand Times, Wellington. In 1919 he joined the head office of the United Press Association in Wellington. Mr Morgan was appointed manager of the association’s Sydney office in 1928, retiring in 1934 because of ill-health. He was keenly interested in religious work and social welfare both in New Zealand and New South Wales, being a prominent member of the Church of England Men’s Society and a lay preacher. In his earlier days he was a prominent marksman and was a frequent visitor to the National Association fixtures at Trentham. MR R. R. MILLBOURN / (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 31. Mr R. R. Millbourn, chairman of directors of Tozer, Kemsley and Millbourn Ltd., London, died at sea on March 30 following a heart attack, according to cabled advice received by the company’s New Zealand representatives. Mr Millbourn, who was well known in New Zealand, was returning to England after a visit to South Africa.
