Witchcraft
Witchcraft was generally believed by all through the Middle Ages, and thousands of people were put to death as witches. In England the laws against witchcraft existed till 1736. According to ope authority, "the judicial murders for witchcraft in England in 200 years was. 30,000.” The last executions for witchcraft were in 1716.
