A warning that unless the holders of goods and passenger service licences prepared the financial statement of the business required under the Act further applications might be refused was given today by Mr E. J. Phelan, the No. 1 Licensing Authority. “We will have to take a firm stand,” said Mr Phelan. “It is very essential that operators should set their houses in order.” Mr Phelan added that there was a number of operators whose applications would be declined if the warning were not heeded. ‘
