NEW ZEALAND BUILDING TRADE (Received March 30, 11.35 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 30. Mr J. Hodgens, M.P., the New Zealand Government’s representative, said today that he had already engaged 387 of the 500 men required for the building trades in New Zealand and he hoped to engage the remainder at Brisbane. Mr Hodgens said he had received a letter from the New Zealand Minister of Housing (the Hon. H. T. Armstrong) stating that the men so far sent to New Zealand were an excellent type and likely to prove most satisfactory. Mr Hodgens will not return to New Zealand for two weeks
