PRIME MINISTER

VISIT TO AUCKLAND (United Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 22. Making his first appearance in Auckland since Christmas, the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, arrived by the Limited, accompanied by the Hon. D. G. Sullivan and the Hon. W. E. Party. He was greeted by enthusiastic supporters and representatives of manufacturing organizations. The group included the Mayor, Sir Ernest Davis, the town clerk, Mr J. A. Melling, and members of Parliament.

Interviewed, Mr Savage said he air ways felt at home in Auckland. He was now looking forward to seeing what Auckland could do in the development of manufacturing industries.
