CONSTITUTION FOR MUSEUM BOARD

INCORPORATION PROPOSED At a meeting of the Southland Museum Board yesterday, a sub-com-mittee was elected to go into the drafting of a constitution. The Mayor (Mr J. R. Hanan) was chairman. Now that the scheme for a museum as a centennial memorial was definitely going ahead, the board should incorporate, it was stated. The actual framing of the constitution was left in the hands of Mr James Robertson. Mr J. H. Sorensen, director of the museum, was appointed to interview the president of the Southland branch of the New Zealand Institute, of Architects about the proposed building. Those present at the meeting were the Mayor (Mr J. R. Hanan) and Messrs W. F. Sturman, H. C. Gimblett, C. S. Longuet, James Robertson and J. H. Sorensen.
