JAPANESE MERCHANT FLEET
(Independent Cable Service) TOKYO, March 14. Japan plans a merchant marine fleet of 7,500,000 tons by 1943, with a building programme of 750,000 tons a year. The ships will be in two categories—for ocean service and for inland navigation in China. .
