UNIVERSAL MILITARY TRAINING
SUGGESTION BY AUCKLAND FARMERS’ EXECUTIVE (United Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 15. Resolutions assuring the Government of whole-hearted support in the steps taken to provide an adequate system of defence, but suggesting the reintroduction of compulsory military training were passed by the Auckland provincial executive of the Farmers’ Union after a spirited debate.
