FINANCIAL POSITION VERY GOOD
PIRATES CLUB’S ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of the Pirates Basketball Club was held on Monday evening. Mrs T._ Noble presided over a fair attendance of old and new members. The annual report and balancesheet, which were read and adopted, showed the club to be in a good financial position. The election of officers resulted:—Patrons, Mr A. J. Geddes, Mr A. W. Jones; president, Mrs T. Noble; vicepresidents, Mesdames Cooper and Hunt, Messrs D. Johnstone and W. Walker; secretary and treasurer, Miss Doreen Thomson; coach, Miss Helen Cooper; club captain, Miss R. Pope; committee, Misses R. Pope, H. Cooper, I. Thomson, G. Knuckey, D. Thomson, Mesdames D. Johnstone. W. Walker. G. Camie.
