Joinery Factory Fire

A call by automatic alarm to the joinery factory of George Poole and Sons, Yarrow street, was received by the Invercargill Fire Brigade at 5.55 a.m. on Saturday. The fire was in the cabinet room in the west end of the building, the wall and roof being damaged. The contents were also slightly damaged, but were covered by insurance.
