Dunn, Auckland. 220 metres backstroke, 3min 5 4-ssec, Miss R. Stackpole, Auckland. 100 metres freestyle, Imin 3 3-ssec, Miss K. Grey, Auckland. 400 metres breaststroke, 7min llsec, Miss W. Dunn, Auckland. 100 yards backstroke, Imin 14 4-ssec, Miss J. Macdonald, Auckland. ■/ 200 metres backstroke, 3min 0 4-ssec, Miss J. Macdonald, Auckland. 200 yards freestyle, 2min 20 4-ssec, P. Hannan, Auckland. 100 yards backstroke, Imin 6 l-ssec, P. Mathieson, Auckland. 400 metres backstroke, smin 25 3-ssec, P. Mathieson, Auckland. , Intermediate 100 yards backstroke, Imin 13sec, W. J. Hart, Christchurch. 100 yards backstroke, Imin 14 4-ssec,i Miss J. Macdonald, Auckland. Junior 50 yards backstroke, 36 3-ssec, Mis 3 B. Owen, Auckland. All the new senior records were made at Auckland, six on January 17 and three on January 19. Miss Macdonald has since reduced the time for 100 yards backstroke to Imin 14 l-ssec.
