Platina Fox Fur Cosily, New And Elusive
Platina, a new and costly type of fox fur, has put in the shade even blue fox, the aristocrat of the family, says a London writer. -
The few platina fox furs available at the moment are unique. A few skins have been brought to Britain from Norway to be shown, but will be taken back for the sales in that country, where they are produced exclusively.
They are likely to make their arrival in London in the spring. Silvery grey in colour, the skins shade almost to black down the centre of the back, and to white on the chest and at the hind legs. The chief attraction of this beautiful fur is that it is delicately pointed with black, which gives the effect of fine veiling over the bluish-grey ground.
