Washing-Day Puddings
Washing-day is always a busy one; especially, if there are puddings to be made for tea. A good idea is to make a rice pudding on washing-day and use the. water in which the rice has been boiled as a stiffener for those light articles made of muslin or for handkerchiefs that do not need real starch.
