The Makarewa freezing works employees are holding their picnic at Colac on Wednesday, February 15. The train leaves Invercargill at 9.40 a.m. and leaves Colac on the return at 5.15 p.m. A good programme has been arranged, including races and competitions for all. and the prizes make the effort worth while. There is also to be a baby show. Hot water, milk, tea and sugar will be provided free.
