ASSAULT ON FARMER
LABOURER CHARGED (United Press Association) NAPIER, February 7. Following a police hunt yesterday Thomas George Flanigan, aged 25, a labourer, of no fixed abode, was charged this morning that, with intent to main, he did grievous bodily harm to William George Corbin, a farmer whose skull was fractured when he was struck down from behind. On the application of the Police the accused was remanded till Monday. The condition of Corbin is reported today to be easier.
