ANGLICAN MISSIONER APPOINTED

WELLINGTON, February 7. The board of trustees of the Wellington City Mission after a meeting tonight announced the appointment by the Bishop of Wellington (the Rt. Rev. H. St. Barbe Holland) of the Rev. Harry Squires, of St. Columba Vicarage, Grey Lynn, Auckland, to the position of missioner. Mr Squires is expected to take up his new duties about May 1. The position Of ‘Wellington city xxiissioner has been filled during the past 12 months by Mr N. C. K. Titchener. He will leave Wellington shortly to enter St. John’s College, Auckland, to continue his studies for the ministry. The previous missioner was the Rev. T. Fielden Taylor.
