SOUTHLAND MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETS The last meeting of the management committee of the Southland branch of the New Zealand Educational Institute, discussed the boundaries of the eastern and southern district sub-branches. Six schools are still to be placed, and it was decided that representatives of these schools and of the eastern and southern district sub-branches should meet a sub-committee of the management committee to discuss the position. Nominations for positions on the management committee should reach the secretary by March 15. It was decided to nominate Mr D. C. Pryor for the position of president of the Dominion institute, Mr D. Forsyth as vice-president and Mr J. Barnett as treasurer. The next meeting of the management committee will discuss appointment by confirmation in upgraded positions. The annual meeting of the branch will be held on Thursday, April 6.
