ANNUAL PICNIC AT OMAUI

SUCCESSFUL OUTING IN - IDEAL WEATHER

About 80 persons travelled by car to Omaui for the annual picnic of the Bluff Railway Social Club. The weather was ideal and the outing was very successful. A programme.of sports was drawn up by the committee, headed by the secretary (Mr J. Parker), and toys and sweets were distributed among the children.

Montgomery 1, G. Cran 2. Boys (5-7 years).—E. Jamieson 1, G. Trussler 2; (8-10 years); W. Montgomery 1, E. Patterson 2; (10-12 years): V. Roughan 1, W. Montgomery 2.; Single women.—Miss S. Downes 1.
