MR EDEN’S VISIT TO WASHINGTON OVER
LONG TALK WITH FOREIGN AFFAIRS EXPERT (Independent Cable Service) (Received December 16, 12.10 a.m.) NEW YORK. December 15. Mr R. A. Eden, the former British Foreign Secretary, completed his ’’isit to Washington with a long conference with Senator Key Pittman, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, who is influential in the shaping of America’s foreign policy. Later Mr Eden was entertained at luncheon by the acting Secretary of State (Mr Sumner Welles). Mr Eden then left for New York.
