MR EDEN TO VISIT UNITED STATES
(British Official Wireless) (Received December 1, 6.30 p.m.) RUGBY, November 30. Referring in the House of Lords, to Anglo-American relations, the Foreign Secretary (Viscount Halifax) drew attention to a forthcoming visit to the United States by Mr R. A. Eden, the former Foreign Secretary, who, he said was going with the fullest agreement and approbation of the British Government. Lord Halifax expressed the opinion that the visit would be extremely valuable in its effects.
