APPEAL FOR AMENDMENT OF WAR PENSIONS ACT
ABOLITION OF SECRET REPORTS (United Press Association) WHANGAREI, November 28. The Disabled Soldiers’ Association held a meeting when a strong appeal was made for an amendment of the War Pensions Act by abolishing secret reports on applicants for pensions, abolishing the word “directly” in the blaming of incapacity to war service and the setting up of independent pensions boards in the main centres in place of the present system.
