MAUNGANUI ARRIVES AT BLUFF MANY PASSENGERS FROM MELBOURNE The Union Company’s trans-Tasman liner Maunganui, which left Melbourne with 338 passengers on board and a big quantity of cargo, arrived at Bluff yesterday morning after a good crossing in fair weather. The ship called at Milford Sound on Saturday afternoon and the passengers, who saw the sound in fine weather, praised its scenic beauty. Nine passengers disembarked there to walk the Milford track. The Maunganui will sail at 5.30 p.m. today for Dunedin, before proceeding to Lyttelton and Wellington. Twenty passengers are making the round trip.
