MURDERER OF DIPLOMAT. —Herschel Grynzpan, aged 17, the Polish Jew who shot and killed Dr von Rath, an official of the German Embassy in Paris, being taken away by the police after his arrest. The assassination resulted in a fresh Nazi outburst against the German Jews which shocked world opinion by its savagery. Grynzpans parents had been expelled from the Reich.
