AMERICAN DELEGATION TO PERU
PLANS FOR CONFERENCE NOT REVEALED (Received November 27, 6.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, November 26. Headed by the Secretary of State (Mi Cordell Hull), the United States delegation to the Pan-American Conference at Lima (Peru) sailed after 10 minutes’ conference between Mr Hull and the returning Ambassador, to Berlin (Mr Hugh Wilson). Details of the conference have not been revealed, but Mr Hull read a statement asserting that the conference offered “a solid cause for hope in a world threatened with despair.”
