MATCHES IN THREE GRADES SENIOR B, INTERMEDIATE AND C GRADE Although the weather was wet and stormy on Saturday morning, it cleared sufficiently in the afternoon to enable the tennis competition matches to be completed. C. ANGAS BEATEN FOR TOP POSITION A. D. BROWN WINS RANKING MATCH AT CHRISTCHURCH (United Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, November 26. Improved greatly from his tour of England, A. D. Brown, the New Zealand tennis champion who now lives in Christchurch, went to the top of the Canterbury tennis ladder today when he beat C. Angas, former Dominion title holder, in a ranking match at Wilding Park. The score was 2-6, 6-0, 6-4.
