Corner Married
Mervyn Corner, All Black half-back from 1930 to 1935, was married recently to Miss Ira Ardley, of Takapuna, at a Devonport Church.
Double “Hat-trick”
The outstanding happening in Wellington Mercantile League cricket last week was the feat of C. Dobbs (Smith and Smith) in doing the “hat-trick” in each innings against Grey Cabs. He secured,, in all, fourteen wickets for 15 runs. The opposition was weak, but, even so, the .performance of the bowler was really sensational.
