MONEY AND MARKETS

CONDITIONS CONTINUE DULL ON INVERCARGILL EXCHANGE

Dull conditions continued on the Invercargill Stock Exchange yesterday. Government loans were quiet. Huddart Parkers was the only line asked for in the shipping section. The industrial section was inactive, sellers predominating. A hesitant tone prevailed in the mining section.

Quotations were as follows:—

1 AUCKLAND J

WELLINGTON

CHRISTCHURCH

SYDNEY (Received November 24, 9.25 p.m.) SYDNEY, November 24. The Stock Exchange continues lifeless. Industrials are inclined to drift because of lack of buying support.

MELBOURNE Industrials are still quiet, Commonwealth Joans are firmer, barriers are steady, and Fijian gold shares are weaker.
