PILOT REPORTED TO BE GRAVELY ILL
LEADER OF RECORD BREAKING BOMBERS’ FLIGHT (Received November 24, 10.55 p.m.) SYDNEY. November 24. Squadron Leader Robert Kellett, who led the record-breaking flight by the Vickers-Wellesley bombers from Egypt to Australia, is reported to be seriously ill in a private hospital in Sydney, suffering from a strange infection which is puzzling the leading specialists. Squadron Leader Kellet became ill the day after the bombers reached Sydney last week.
